Happy Mother's Day!

First off, I want to say happy Mother's Day to my mother and mother-in-law as well as all of the other women that have shaped my life. Cheers to motherhood.

It has been a good weekend. We went up to see Bryan's family on friday to celebrate mother's day as well as my mother-in-law's birthday. For her present we put together a photo album with Rachel and Wendy's help. I think she liked it alot. Here is one of the pictures we found:

It was taken December of last year. Bryan is taking the picture, but he, Rachel, Olya, and Jacob helped me make the fist snowman I ever remember making. We had a good time.

We also all went to go see the new Star Trek movie this weekend. I thought that it was only going to be okay, but I really liked it. Two thumbs up.

I had to give a talk in church today. It turned out alright, though my knees were knocking together nearly the whole time. I got to speak about motherhood and how all women are mothers, even if they don't have children. Since we attend a student married ward, I hope that I helped some women feel like Mother's day is special for them too.
And now it is the beginning of the week again. I think it will be a good one. We are having FHE with some friends of our in the ward, so that will be fun. Other than that, it's school and work...ugh. At least the weather will be nice!

Today was a beautiful day!

Ahh, the day after finals are done. It's a wonderful feeling. Today, Bryan and I haven't had to be anywhere or do anything that we didn't want to. We slept in, had a great breakfast, and lazed around the apartment. Liz came over in the afternoon and we made a picnic. We spent a couple hours at the park with Liz and PJ in the beautiful weather. It has been a wonderful day.

Happy Easter

It has been a good weekend. I have had lots of fun with friends and family, and I wish that I had to thought to take pictures! I haven't been so good about that lately. :)

On friday Bryan and I went to visit Liz and PJ. We helped them move a piano and then we decorated easter eggs! They were pretty cool because the was shiny stuff that we could put on them. Afterwards, we went to the dollar theater and saw Mall Cop. Hilarious!

Saturday, after work, Bryan and I went up to Ogden to see his family. Almost everyone was there, except Jacob, who is on his mission. It was a lot of fun. We decorated eggs, watched a movie called 16 Blocks, and ate good food.

Today, we went to Temple Square in Salt Lake to watch the broadcast of Music and the Spoken Word. It was amazing to be in the Tabernacle and hear the choir, bells, and orchestra fill the hall with beautiful music. I could feel the Spirit strongly and couldn't help but thank my Heavenly Father again for the gift of His Son. Afterwards, we went to church with Bryan's family. It was strange to be in a family ward, but enjoyable. I like the wide varity of people. When we went back to the house, we had an amazing dinner. We got Eater baskets (yay!)! I got the Twilight movie, Bryan got the third season of House, and we both got tons of candy. It has been a wonderful day with family.

Now I am at work...waiting for a toilet or something to blow up so I can have something to clean.

Spring

So, it's been a while since I've updated. I guess there really hasn't been much to say, or anything really out of the ordinary. However, I guess there are a few things of note. ;)

General Conference was last weekend. It was amazing as usual.

Liz and PJ are leaving at the end of the month ofr a summer internship. So sad! I will miss them.

Classes are almost over! I can't wait until summer really comes.

The trees are looking lovely with all of their new growth. I especially love the pink flowers.

Life is good right now, if a little stressful. Things are moving along, and I am happy. I am content at this point in my life and couldn't ask for more.

All things green...

So, my husband decided he would try and trick me on St. Patrick's day. I told him a little while ago that I was going to hide all of his green clothing, but didn't do it because...well, I guess I just forgot. :) So, Bryan stole my idea and hid everything green that I owned. He was serious about this, he even hid my slippers, earings. and ribbons, as well as my clothes. All of this just so he could pinch me all day. However, he underestimated me. He didn't think I would wear his Legend of Zelda shirt. So I wore it to class. I got a lot of weird looks from various guys, but I didn't care.

I won. ;)

I love my husband! =D

My computer

I love my computer...I just wish it would work. We are going to have to rebuild the whole computer. Argh. Oh well, at least I don't have to go get a new one. It's just going to take some time.

On the other hand, I just found out that my english class was canceled again. That's two days in a row! Now I just have to try and find the motivation to study for my health promotion test.

Bryan finds out in a little while where he is going to be going for his internship. I just want to know! He had his interview today and they told him he would know "in a little while." I wish they would just tell us how long! Oh well...at least I will know soon, so I will know whether or not to freak out or just keep moving along here in Provo.

But I still hope they will let us know soon.

It's Windsday!

I feel like Gopher on Winnie the Pooh. I think I'm going to huddle up for the rest of the day and watch the wind blow everyone else around. It has been nice though, to have a few sunny days before the next storm.

Last night I listened to Disney music. All the older songs from movies like Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty, Little Mermaid, you know, the classics. I made me very happy inside to listen to them. I don't know why, maybe it's because of all the good memories. Maybe it's just because they are just great songs. All I know is that it made me inexplicably joyful listening to them.

I found out yesterday that Liz and PJ will probably be going to SoCal for PJ's internship during the summer. We will miss them and will have to find some other way to fill our time. We are still waiting to find out where Bryan is going to go. He has interviews next week...so at least things are moving now! It's crazy to think that I have no idea where I am going to be in a couple years. Ahh! I guess I better deal with what I can now.
